We will follow the Billings School District snow day policy. If the local school district is closed for a snow day, we will schedule a make-up class. If Billings Schools are closed for Holidays/PIR days we will follow the same closed schedule. We will offer specialty camps for spring/winter break and some PIR days. They will be posted on the class schedule.

snowdays/School closure
We offer Scholarships through our communities generous donations and our 50/50 book sales. This allows students to experience an art camp or take in our one on one reading coaching. If you would like to apply please submit an application to marigolds@gmail.com. Our studio has chosen a group of community members to choose scholarship recipients.

We really appreciate your donations. 100% of cash donations goes towards the student learning to read or to a lovely art camp. Without your donations many students wouldn't have this opportunity. Our 50/50 books sales allow students the opportunity to take in a one on one reading coach. All books that are donated will either go up for sale in our tiny studio or be donated to a reader to build their own home library. Unwanted books will be donated back into our community.
Please donate all youth books to Marigolds Studio 111 Nth 30th right nest door to The Art House. A book drop box is available inside the glass door next to the mail boxes.

PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOS
Our footage is stored in a cloud-based program and can only be accessed by the owner when the need arises.
We can quickly review any footage should the need arise.
Having access to this footage without needing to contact a third party is vital. Should any need to view the footage occur, we can do so within minutes.
Marigolds does not share any footage of our studio with anyone else.
Some studios have systems where parents or guardians can log in remotely and check in on their little ones. We weighed this decision thoroughly before deciding against it.
We believe that the privacy of each child is essential. We recognize some families are not comfortable with other families viewing their child as well as their own.
While we certainly don't look down upon other studios choosing that option, it was not what we felt was best for our studio.
We will use photos of students work and photographs of individuals for our social media accounts.

Volunteers
If you enjoy reading books to kids and would love teaching a student to read, you might be interested in joining my team. We would enjoy having you. We will be there to guide the process we use during our free library session. Volunteers must feel out an application and a background check.
Permission Slip/waiver
